Background
On commercial aircraft, thrust reversers are deployed during landing to provide extra braking power. With advanced materials including composites and thermoplastics being used more and more in these aircraft, extremely detailed structural analysis must be conducted to ensure that the extreme loadings do not cause a failure. These margins are of particular interest for repairs.

Performed bushing repair analysis (bearing, shear tear-out, net section, pull through, fastener strength, BJSFM, joint gapping, fatigue) and prepared repair documents
Documented fire and lightning test results on thermoplastics
