About
Rocket Propulsion Laboratory (RPL) at UC San Diego is a student-lead rocketry organization. Our main project is the development of a LOX/LNG rocket, Phoenix-1 (PHX), which is set to launch in 2023 to compete in the FAR-DPF challenge. Our previous main project was a larger liquid bi-propellant rocket, Marginal Stability, whose goal was to reach the Karman Line. Marginal Stability was cancelled in 2022 due to budget constraints. RPL was founded in 2017 and has since seen hundreds of passionate, talented, and diverse undergraduate and graduate students contribute to its various rocketry projects. Here is my role in RPL:

Implemented method to better track team in individual responsibilities and progress as team nearly doubled in size

Oversaw design and analysis of all internal structure components as well as external CFRP shell
