Background

I joined a team formed through NASA L'SPACE NPWEE, which is trying to use COTS E-ink panels (commonly used in tablets) to develop a low-cost, low-power, low-mass solution to drastic temperature swings experienced by spacecraft in LEO and interplanetary trajectories.

What I Did

• Research state-of-the-art satellite thermal control systems.

• Developed MATLAB tools to use E-ink test data and solar spectral data to determine panel performance.
