NASA Proposal Writing & Evaluation Experience (NPWEE) Academy

Project Manager

May 2021 - June 2021

Background

The NASA Proposal Writing & Evaluation Experience (NPWEE) is a ~3 month long program, where roughly 40 teams of 10 undergraduate students develop new technology quad charts, and have one of them selected by NASA Marshall Spaceflight Center to write a proposal on, for a $10,000 grant to further develop the technology. One of the technologies I pushed in a quad chart was a solar panel protective surface/casing to mitigate the effect of dust accumulation. Ultimately, our team was selected to adapt a process for ethanol production to be possible on Mars. I took the role of project manager.
